Dumaria Agri Fed Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based in the village of Tirildih, which is in the Dumaria region. Khela Ram Mardi is the person we usually go to when we need to get things settled for the company. We are a group of farmers from around here who realized that we would be better off if we worked together instead of trying to do everything on our own. Dumaria can be a tough place for farming because it is somewhat isolated and the weather can be very unpredictable. Being part of this group gives us a little more security when it comes time to sell our crops. We don't have a fancy building or a lot of staff. Most of us are just out in the fields from sunrise to sunset. We meet up whenever we can, usually at Khela’s house, to talk about what we need for the next season. It is all very basic and practical. We don't use any corporate jargon or make big claims about our mission. We just want to grow good food and make enough money to keep going for another year. Our hands are calloused and our clothes are usually stained with dirt, but that is the reality of our lives. We are proud of what we do, even if it is just quiet, hard work in a small village. We take care of each other and try to make sure nobody gets left behind in the bad years.
