Dhawadih Samriddhi Mahila Kisan Producercompany Limited

We are a group of women from around Satbarwa who decided to start Dhawadih Samriddhi Mahila Kisan Producercompany Limited. Our main office is over on Ranchi Road, right across from the Satbarwa Police Station. Lawrencisu Lakra was kind enough to let us use this space to get things going. Most of us have been farming our small plots for a long time, but doing it alone was getting harder with the costs of seeds and everything else going up. So, we figured we would pool what we have together. It is just local ladies here, mostly talking about crops and trying to figure out how to get a decent price at the market without being cheated. Sometimes the meetings get a bit loud when everyone has an opinion, but that is how it goes when you have neighbors working together. We don't have a big fancy office or anything, just some chairs and a desk where we keep our papers. We deal with whatever grows well in this part of Palamu. Life in the village is not always easy, but having this company helps us feel a bit more organized. We spend our days out in the fields and then meet up here when there is paperwork to handle or if we need to plan for the next planting season. It's just us trying to make a living and looking after our families by being smart about our farming work.
