Chas Hat Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is set up at the Old Dc Office Campus. It’s an old building but it works for what we need. Chas Hat is really just a bunch of local farmers trying to make a living without getting lost in the shuffle. We spend most of our time talking about crop yields and who has the best seeds this year. It gets pretty loud sometimes when everyone starts talking at once during our meetings. We aren't professional businessmen or anything, just people who know how to grow things. Being at the old office campus makes it easy for people to find us since everyone knows where that is. We have some desks and chairs but mostly it’s just a place to gather and sort out our plans. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit in the dark and keep talking. It’s not a glamorous life but it’s what we’ve always done. My cousin helps with the books and some of the other guys handle the transport. We don't really have a boss, we just all try to pitch in. Lately, we've been worried about the soil quality in some areas so we're looking into that. There is always something to worry about when you're farming. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay honest with each other. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes but we get through it.
