Capitol Residency

We are located out by Hindustan Zinc Ltd. in Tundoo, right here in Dhanbad. Being near the P.O. means we see a lot of coming and going. The place is basically where people stay when they are in town for work or just passing through Jharkhand. It isn't a five-star resort, but we keep the rooms clean and the lights on. Most of the time, it's pretty quiet around the residency. We have a small crew that handles the cleaning and the front desk. Sometimes the weather gets really dusty because of the industrial area nearby, so we spend a lot of time sweeping the entrance. People usually come here because they have business with the zinc plant. We know the regulars by name now. It’s a simple setup. There’s a kitchen where we fix some basic meals if someone is hungry. We don't have a big fancy menu or anything like that. Just regular food for tired workers. The building has its quirks, like a squeaky gate and some old windows, but it holds up well enough. Living and working in Dhanbad is different from the big cities, but we like the pace here. We just focus on making sure there’s a bed ready when someone needs one. It’s a basic living space for anyone who needs a roof over their head while they are out this way for work. We try to be helpful and keep everything running as best as we can without much fuss.
