Bundu Agribusiness Producer Company Limited is located right at Shanti Mahto’s house. Shanti is the son of Dubraj Mahto. We are over in Erkia, which is part of the Burhadih area in Bundu. It isn't a big city office with polished floors. It is just a regular place where we get the local farming business done. Most of us here have spent our whole lives working the soil around Bundu. We know how hard it is to get a good crop and then find someone to buy it. That is why we all got together. We use the space at the house to keep our records and store some of the supplies. It can get pretty crowded when the harvest is coming in and everyone is trying to weigh their bags at the same time. There is a lot of dust and noise from the tractors. We don't have any fancy titles or uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and get our hands dirty. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit behind because we are out in the fields or helping someone fix a fence. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just talk to our neighbors and try to make things work for everyone in Erkia. If you are coming to see us, just follow the dirt road past the main village. It is a simple life here, but it is honest. We deal with what the weather gives us and try to make a living.
