Blooming Buds School

Out in Pandra, things are a bit quieter than in the center of Ranchi, but it’s still a busy place with the market nearby. Blooming Buds School is just a small local setup we’ve got going here. We don’t have a massive campus or anything like that. It’s just a few rooms where we gather the kids from the neighborhood. Most of them walk to school from the nearby houses. We start early in the morning, usually around eight, and the day is done by the early afternoon. The teachers are all local people who understand the community. We don’t use any big words or have any grand plans. We just want to make sure the children learn their ABCs and numbers properly. The building is simple, and we try to keep it tidy, though with so many kids running around, it’s not always easy. We spend our time checking homework and talking to parents who come by to check on their children's progress. Ranchi weather is usually quite pleasant, so we don’t have to worry too much about extreme heat, except for a couple of months in the summer. We have some basic play equipment in the corner of the yard. It’s a very ordinary kind of place, and we like it that way. There’s no pressure to be anything other than a neighborhood school where kids can come and learn in peace.
