Shanti Juniors.

We are located at House No 264, Rupayan, in the New A G Colony of Ranchi. It’s a residential area, so the school feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. We focus on the younger kids, the juniors, so our day is mostly filled with a lot of noise and energy. The building is a converted house, which actually works quite well because it doesn't feel scary for the little ones who are away from home for the first time. We have some colorful mats on the floor and some basic toys for them to play with. The yard has a little bit of space for them to jump around when the weather is nice. Ranchi can get a bit chilly in the winter, so we make sure the rooms stay warm enough for the kids. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that; most people find out about us just by walking past or hearing from a neighbor. The teachers here are patient people who don't mind a bit of a mess now and then. Lunchtime is always a bit of a struggle with spills and picky eaters, but we manage. It’s a simple life running a junior school in Kadru. We just want the kids to be safe and learn a few things before they move on to the bigger schools. It’s a small, local operation and we like it that way.
