Visionford Public School

Visionford Public School is located on Road Number 14 in Hawai Nagar. That is a well-known part of Ranchi. The school is a public one, so we see all kinds of kids from the local area. The building is a few stories high and stands out on the street. We have a gate that stays very busy every morning when the kids are arriving. Ranchi weather is usually decent, but it can rain quite heavily during the monsoon season. When that happens, the road outside gets some deep puddles that we have to navigate. We have classrooms for many different grades. It is a typical school day with the bell ringing every hour to change subjects. The teachers have a small staff room where they can sit and have a cup of tea while they check the students' papers. We do not have a lot of fancy decorations in the hallways. The walls usually have some student drawings or maps pinned up on them. Hawai Nagar is a residential area, so a lot of the children just walk from their houses nearby. It is a bit of a steep walk for some of them. We have a small area for sports, but it is nothing like a big stadium. It is just a regular school where we focus on the textbooks and getting through the school year. People know us on Road 14 as a local fixture.
