Progrisive Childrens Burha Khukhra School

Progrisive Childrens Burha Khukhra School is tucked away in Mander, which is a bit of a drive from the main Ranchi city. If you come out to Burhakhukhra, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a quiet place, mostly fields and trees around the 835214 area. We started this school because the kids here needed a place nearby. The building is simple, just some classrooms and a space for the children to run around during the break. We don’t have big fancy signs or a marketing team. I usually spend my mornings checking the classrooms and making sure the floors are swept. Sometimes the rains make the roads to Burhakhukhra a bit messy, but the kids still show up. We’ve got a small staff of people who live nearby in Ranchi or the surrounding villages. It’s a local effort, really. We know most of the parents by name because we see them every day at the gate. Progrisive Childrens Burha Khukhra School isn't a huge institution, just a small school trying to do right by the local families. We deal with broken pencils and missing notebooks more than anything else. Life moves a bit slower out here in Mander. We just keep the doors open and watch the kids grow up year after year. It's honest work and we're glad to be part of this community.
