We are located in Gupta Market, right on Shardhanand Road in the Upper Bazar area. It is a very busy spot, especially being so close to the PNB Bank. You can see the long bank queues from the market entrance on most mornings. Upper Bazar is one of those places where there is always something happening, no matter the time of day. There is a lot of loading and unloading of goods on this road, so it gets a bit tight for cars to pass through. Our shop is just a regular unit inside the market. We have our desks set up and some chairs for people who come in to talk about their travel plans. It is an older building, so it has that specific smell of old concrete and stacks of paper. We have got folders and calendars all over the walls. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away on the keyboard. We know the other shopkeepers around here pretty well and we often share a cup of tea when things are a bit slow in the afternoon. It is not a fancy corporate office, just a local business where we get the work done. People come in, ask about bus or train timings, or maybe a flight to another city, and we see what we can find for them. The fan overhead hums all day long, and we just keep at it. It is a straightforward life here.
