Aaashta Travels

Our office is situated in Lalpur, which is one of those parts of Ranchi that never seems to slow down. We are located near Hotel Ariya and the Bardhaman Compound, so that gives you a good idea of where we sit. It’s a convenient spot for people living in the compound or staying at the hotel to drop by. We deal with travel bookings mostly. It involves a lot of looking at maps and checking dates on the computer. The office itself is just a regular room with the usual stuff you’d expect. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed because travel planning shouldn't be stressful. You’ll often find us sitting here with a cup of tea while we work through the paperwork. The Bardhaman Compound area has a specific feel to it, a bit of a mix of old and new Ranchi. We like being part of this neighborhood. People come in with all sorts of questions about buses or trains or cars, and we just give them the information we have. There isn’t any complicated philosophy behind it; we just do the work. The traffic on the main road can get a bit much during peak hours, but inside the office, it’s usually quiet enough to get things done. We’ve been here long enough that most of the locals know where to find us. It’s just a standard travel desk operation, nothing more and nothing less. This is how we run Aaashta Travels every day.
