S. S. Garg Stone Industry

S. S. Garg Stone Industry is out in the Amar Pura Industrial Area. We are in Ramganjmandi which is part of the Kota district. Our place is right on the Main Road so you cannot really miss us if you are driving through the industrial zone. This whole area is very much about stone because Ramganjmandi is famous for it. You can hear the machines working from quite a distance away. It is a very busy environment with a lot of dust and trucks carrying heavy loads up and down the main road. We keep our operations pretty basic and focus on the stone blocks we get. The weather in Kota can be very dry and hot but we just keep working through it. Our space is more of a working yard than a fancy showroom. We have stacks of stone everywhere and the workers are always busy cutting or moving things. It is not the kind of place where you come for a quiet chat but it is where the real work happens. We have been part of the Ramganjmandi stone scene for some time now and we know the roads and the local rhythms well. Most of the people who deal with us are regulars from the industry who know the quality of the stone from this region.
