Woolan Kambali Handloom Weavers Producer Company Limited

We are located in Ward 1, specifically on Kollapuram Temple Road in the Venkatapura Hobali area. Our setup is at the home of G A Anandappa. It is a local place where we handle the business of the handloom weavers. If you walk down the road towards the temple, you can usually hear the sound of work going on. We are a producer company for those of us who make woolan kambalis and other handloom items. We don't have a big factory or a showroom with glass doors. It is more of a community effort where we gather to talk about the wool and the weaving process. Sometimes we sit on the floor to look at the patterns or discuss the costs of the materials. The air around here is usually fresh, and it feels like a proper village setting. We have some shelves where we keep samples of the work, but mostly we are busy coordinating between the different weavers in the ward. It isn't always easy to manage everything, especially when the weather is bad and it is hard to move the goods. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to make sure everyone gets their fair share. It is a traditional way of living that we are trying to keep going through this company. People know us by our names rather than just a business title. It is honest work and we take it one day at a time.
