Arkavathi Horticulture Farmers Producer Company Limited

We have been running things here in Ramanagara for a while now. Our spot is at 28/28/2 in Kailancha, which isn't too hard to find if you know the district well. It's a local setup where a bunch of us farmers from the taluk decided to get together and see if we could make things work better for everyone growing horticulture crops. Most days it’s just us sitting around a couple of wooden desks, looking over records and talking about the weather. Ramanagara gets quite warm, and the soil here has its own way of behaving that you only learn by staying on it. We aren’t some big city firm with shiny windows. The office is plain, and there is usually a bit of dust from the road nearby. We spend a lot of time visiting the fields or waiting for the trucks to come by. People drop in to ask about seeds or how the market is looking that week. It's not a fast life, but there is always something to do, whether it’s fixing a ledger or checking on a harvest. Sometimes the rain helps us, sometimes it doesn't, but that’s just how it goes in this part of Karnataka. We keep things simple because that’s what we know. If you are around Kailancha, you’ll see the sign and maybe some of us sitting out front when it gets a bit cooler in the evening. It is just basic work done by local people.
