Weldor Metalware

Weldor Metalware is out in Kothariya, specifically at Plot No. 15 on Survey No. 238. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here since we are behind Vikas Export and near Amtech Investment Casting. Being close to N.H. 8-B makes it easier for the transport trucks to find us, though. The area is mostly industrial, so there are always sounds of metal hitting metal and machines running in the distance. Our building is a basic shed structure. It gets the job done and keeps the rain off the equipment. We spend most of our time on the shop floor. There is a small corner with a desk where we handle the phone calls and papers, but we aren't there much. It’s dusty work and our hands are usually dirty by lunch. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If someone visits, they usually just stand in the doorway and talk to us while we work. The sun sets right over the open fields behind the plot, which is the nicest part of the day. There is a stray dog that sleeps under the mango tree near the fence. We give him some scraps from our tiffins. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. It’s quiet in the evenings once the other factories shut down their engines. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure everything is loaded onto the trucks correctly. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. No frills at all.
