Gokul Steel Work

Gokul Steel Work is situated in the Sardar Patel Estate within Umakant Udhyognagar. Our shop is on Gulabvadi Main Road, which is a place that feels like it’s made of iron and oil. We do all kinds of steel fabrication here. You can usually find us surrounded by heaps of metal scraps and long bars of steel leaning against the walls. The sound of the grinding wheels is the background music of our lives. It’s a messy place, and your clothes will definitely get stained if you hang around too long. We have a small group of workers who know their way around a welder and a lathe. We don't have a fancy showroom; we just have the workshop where the real work happens. Most of the day is spent measuring, cutting, and joining metal according to whatever the customer needs. The heat from the torches can be a bit much in the summer, but we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through the estate. People around here know us for being practical. We don't use big words or make grand promises. We just take the steel and turn it into whatever is required. It’s heavy work and it makes your back ache, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been on Gulabvadi Main Road for years, and we’ve seen plenty of other shops come and go. It is what it is, just a metal shop.
