Shree Siddhivinayak Ispat Industries

Down at the Parshuram Industrial Estate in Rajkot, things are always moving. Our spot at Plot No. 141-142 is right across from the Vishal Foundry, so we get all that noise and the heat from their furnaces throughout the day. Manda Dungar is a heavy industrial area, and you can definitely tell by the state of the roads and the amount of iron dust in the air. At Shree Siddhivinayak Ispat Industries, we’re mostly focused on the metalwork. It’s a dirty job, and everyone’s clothes usually have a few grease stains or soot marks by the time the shift ends. The machines are loud, and we have to yell sometimes just to be heard over the clanging. We don’t have a fancy office with glass walls. Our workspace is a big shed with high ceilings and heavy equipment. It gets incredibly hot during the Rajkot summers, but we’re used to the sweat. We’ve got a small area where we keep the records and take a rest, but most of the action happens on the floor. People come in and out to drop off materials or pick up finished pieces. It’s a no-nonsense environment where the work speaks for itself. We don’t spend much time on talk; we just focus on getting the iron and steel processed correctly. It’s tough work, but it’s what keeps this part of the city running.
