Kishor Casting Co.

Our workshop, Kishor Casting Co., is located on Plot No. 184/2 in the Aji GIDC area of Rajkot. It’s a busy industrial zone, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. The work we do isn't very pretty—it involves a lot of sand, metal, and heat—but it’s what we know. We spend most of our time out on the floor making sure the molds are set up correctly. My father started this kind of work, and we just kept it going. We don't have a big office with air conditioning; we’re usually out where the action is, getting our hands dirty. The machines are old but they work fine as long as you treat them right. We handle a variety of casting jobs for different industries around Rajkot. Some people want small parts, others need something much heavier. We just look at the drawings and see if we can do it. If we can’t, we say so. We don't like to overcomplicate things with big promises. Most of our customers are folks we’ve known for years. They know if they come to Plot 184/2, they’ll find us working. It gets loud and it gets dusty, but that’s just the way it is in a foundry. We like the work, and we like being part of the local manufacturing scene here. It’s a decent living and it keeps the family together.
