Volcano Foundation

Volcano Foundation is located at 202, Shailaja Sankul, on Raiya Road. This is in the Kishanpara area of Rajkot. We are near the Amrapali Crossing, which is always busy with traffic and people. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space on the second floor where we do our daily work. We started this foundation because we saw things in the community that needed a bit of attention. It’s not like we have a massive budget or hundreds of staff members. It’s just a few of us trying to help out where we can. We deal with a lot of different people who come through the door with various problems or ideas they want to share. Sometimes we’re organizing a small drive for clothes or books, other times we’re just talking to people about local issues that bother them. It can be quite tiring, and there’s always more paperwork than you expect. Rajkot is a place where people generally help each other, so we fit in okay here. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or expensive marketing. We’d rather spend that on whatever project we are currently doing. If you’re near Amrapali Crossing, you can see our building easily. We are usually there from morning until evening, just trying to get things organized. It’s a slow process sometimes, but we stay at it because it feels like the right thing to do for the neighborhood.
