Musical Mellows International Orchestra

Our place is Musical Mellows International Orchestra and you can find us on the second floor of Dhanvantri. That is on the main road in Shreeji Nagar, Shubhash Nagar area of Rajkot. Being on the second floor means we have to haul instruments up and down the stairs quite a bit, which isn't always fun but it keeps us moving. The room is usually filled with the sound of someone practicing or just the hum of the city from the main road. We’ve been in Rajkot for a long time and this location works well for us. It’s not a huge space, so things can get a little tight when the whole group is here at once. We have piles of sheet music and instrument cases everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest, but it’s a creative mess. We aren't trying to be some polished corporate entity. We are just musicians who like to play. People in the neighborhood probably hear us more than they see us. We don't spend much money on fancy furniture or decor because most of our time is spent out performing or practicing. Rajkot has a good vibe for what we do. We just keep our heads down and focus on the music. If you ever come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through cables or tuning something. It’s just regular daily life for us here in Shubhash Nagar.
