D J Chetan & Havan

Our place is on the 1st floor of Navneet Nivas. We are located on Street 8 in Kadiya Plote. If you are coming from Rajkot, you just need to look for the area behind Yaadav Pan. It’s a local neighborhood, not some big commercial district, which we like. D J Chetan & Havan is basically a family-run kind of operation. We handle the music and the religious ceremonies too, which keeps us pretty busy at all times of the year. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it's where we keep all our sound equipment and the things we need for the rituals. Street 8 is usually quiet enough, but we are often coming and going at odd hours depending on when the functions are. We’ve lived and worked in Rajkot for a long time, so we know how things work here. People usually hear about us through friends or neighbors. We don’t spend money on big ads. We just sit in our office at Navneet Nivas and wait for the phone to ring or for someone to stop by for a chat. It’s a very simple way of doing business. We treat everyone who comes in like they are part of the neighborhood. Kadiya Plote has a good feel to it, and being behind the pan shop makes us easy to find for most locals. We just do our job and go home.
