Vijay Steel Reling

Vijay Steel Reling is out on National Highway No. 8-E, in the Vavdi area. We are tucked behind Krishna Park on Gondal Road. Being near the highway means there is always dust and the sound of big trucks passing by at all hours. We spend our time working on steel railings and things like that. It’s a hot job, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the shop floor. We have some tools and machines for the work, and the rest is just sweat and effort. The location in Vavdi is mostly industrial and commercial, so it isn't very quiet. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a shop that does fabrication. We handle the metal, cut it, and get it ready. Sometimes it gets really busy and we have piles of railings waiting to go out. Other days are a bit slower, so we just clean up the shop. We don't have a big office or anything. It’s mostly just the work area and a small spot to sit down. People find us because they know the highway or they are heading toward Krishna Park. We have been here for a bit now, just keeping at it. It is steady work and it keeps us occupied. If you pass by Gondal Road, you'll see where we are. We just keep making the railings one by one until the sun goes down.
