Uday Foundry

Uday Foundry is tucked away in the Ramnagar Industrial Area, specifically at unit number 6 in Aji Vasahat. If you're looking for us, we are right behind Rasiklal. It’s an old-school foundry where things are done the traditional way. The air is usually thick with the smell of sand and hot metal. It’s a gritty kind of job, but we've been doing it for years and it’s what we know. The space isn't huge, so we have to be organized about where we put the molds and the finished parts. Aji Vasahat is a crowded industrial zone, so there's always something going on next door. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. By noon, the furnaces make the whole place feel like an oven. We don't have a fancy reception area or a secretary. If you come by, you’ll just find us working. We handle a lot of different casting jobs for local businesses. It’s dusty and loud, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we like. We’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time. Most of the people here are like us, just trying to get the day's work done. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make things out of iron and steel. We take pride in the heavy work we do, even if it leaves us tired and dirty at the end of the day.
