Swastik Casting

Out here in Mani Nagar, specifically at number 8 in the Mandi Plot area, things get pretty dusty. That’s just the nature of the business when you’re running Swastik Casting. It’s an industrial part of town, so you won’t find any fancy gardens or quiet cafes nearby. Instead, there’s the sound of metal and the smell of the foundry. We’ve been operating from this plot for years, and the building shows its age, but it’s solid. Our work involves a lot of heat and heavy lifting, so everyone here is used to getting their hands dirty. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. If someone comes by, they usually just walk in and find one of us near the machines. The floor is always covered in sand or metal scraps, no matter how much we sweep. We keep the equipment running as much as we can. It’s hard work, and the summers are especially tough when the sun beats down on the roof, making it even hotter inside. We take breaks when we can, sitting on some crates or old chairs near the entrance to catch a breeze. Most of the guys have been with us for a long time, so we’re more like a group of friends than just coworkers. We don't bother with fancy brochures or marketing talk. People know us for what we do right here on Mandi Plot, and that’s enough for us. It’s just how things go.
