Sterling Cast

Our foundry is located at g-1086 in the Metoda G.I.D.C. area, right in the Lodhika industrial estate off Kalavad Road. It gets very hot in here, especially when the furnaces are going full blast. You can smell the metal and the sand from the gate. Sterling Cast is a place where we get our hands dirty. There’s no way around it. We’ve got stacks of molds and scrap metal piled up in the corners. The guys are always wearing their boots and heavy gear. It’s a tough environment but we’re used to it. We don't have a big fancy office. Just a small room with a desk and some chairs where we handle the orders. Most of our day is spent on the floor checking the pours and making sure the cooling is going right. Metoda is a huge place, so we’re just one small part of this big industrial machine. We know the other shop owners around here. We help each other out if someone runs out of supplies or needs a hand with a heavy load. It’s a community of workers. We don't use big words or have complicated rules. We just follow the process we’ve learned over the years. Some days are harder than others when a machine breaks down, but we fix it and move on. That’s how life goes at g-1086. We’re just here to do the casting work as best as we can without any fuss.
