Sonet Engineers

Most days here at 374 in G.I.D.C. Aji, Phase-Ii, the sun hits the workshop floor pretty early. We’ve been operating Sonet Engineers from this spot for a good while now. It’s an industrial area, so there is always noise from the neighbors and trucks moving in and out of the lanes. We spend a lot of time looking at parts and making sure the machines are running like they are supposed to. Some mornings the tea guy comes around and that’s the main break we get. The floor gets a bit dusty because of the location, but that is just how it is in Phase-Ii. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of steel. People know us by the sign outside. It’s mostly just hard work and keeping track of orders. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, which gives us a chance to talk. It isn't always easy keeping everything organized when things get busy. We do our own maintenance mostly. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes, maybe a bit of oil on the hands. That is the reality of being an engineer in a place like this. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do before the day ends.
