Our workshop is over at Plot No. G-2116-17/a, right near Gate No 3 in the Gidc Metoda area of Rajkot. We are situated directly opposite Galaxy Stamping, so there is always the heavy sound of industrial work echoing across the street. It’s a place that feels very lived-in. The walls are covered in shadows from the high rafters, and there’s a thick layer of workshop dust on almost everything that doesn't move. We have been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. The gate is usually open to let the air circulate, and you can see the laborers and trucks moving back and forth all day long. Inside, it’s a mix of old machines and new parts waiting to be finished. We don't go in for fancy talk or trying to impress people with big words. We just show up, look at the drawings or the parts, and get to work. Lunch is usually a quick affair, often eaten right there on the shop floor or just outside in the shade of the building. It’s a practical, gritty kind of life. There’s always some piece of equipment that needs a bit of oil or a belt that needs tightening. By the time the day ends, we’re usually pretty tired, but the work is finished and ready for the next step. It’s just how things are at the shop every day.
