R M Engineering

If you are looking for us, we are right by the Banganga Automobiles near the old Bombay Garage on Gondal Road. That part of Rajkot is always packed with traffic and the sound of horns blowing. R M Engineering is tucked away in a spot that is easy to miss if you are driving too fast. It is a Vishwa Shanti building area. Inside our shop, it is mostly iron and steel bits lying around on the floor. We have been here for a good while now. My hands are usually covered in oil or metal shavings by noon. We do not have a big mission statement or any of those posters you see in big city offices. We just fix things and build components that people need for their own businesses. The workbench is an old wooden one that has seen better days, but it works fine for what we do. Sometimes customers come in just to chat while we finish a weld or trim a piece of metal. It gets loud when the grinders are going, so we have to shout to hear each other. Rajkot is a hub for this kind of work, so there is always competition, but we just focus on the job sitting on the table in front of us. It is honest work and it fills the day up nicely. We usually close up when the sun goes down.
