If you're driving down Dhebarroad South, past the Atika area, you’ll find our workshop near the Nill Deep Clen Cast place. Solankiengworks isn't a large factory by any means. It’s a local engineering spot where we handle a lot of the smaller, gritty jobs that keep other machines running. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there’s always the sound of a grinder or a lathe humming in the background. My family has been doing this for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We mostly focus on repairs and making specific parts when someone brings in a sample. It’s not the kind of work where you stay clean, but we don't mind the grease much. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets pretty intense, especially in the afternoons, so we take breaks and sit outside for a bit. We don't have a website or anyone handling "public relations" for us. It’s just a few of us who know how to work the machines and handle the tools. Most of our regulars are from the nearby industrial plots. They know where we are and what we can do. We just keep our heads down and get the tasks done one by one. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without much fuss. We just like to get the work finished correctly.
