Soham Metal Cast

Our foundry is located at Vavdi Survey No. 30, right off the Gondal National Highway 8B. If you know where the Satyanarayan weight bridge is, we are just behind that, near the Jivaraj Estate. It is a busy spot with trucks coming and going all the time because of the highway traffic. Inside the shop, it is usually quite hot because of the casting process, but that is just part of the daily job. We work with different metals and molds every single day. It involves a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy items and pouring molten material. My father started this place years ago, and we have not changed much about it since then. The walls are a bit stained from the smoke, and there are always stacks of finished pieces waiting to be picked up near the front door. We are not located in a fancy commercial building, just a solid structure that fits the type of work we do. People drop by to talk about their specific projects, and we usually just sit on the stools in the small office area to chat. It gets very dusty in the summer months, but the breeze from the highway helps a little bit. We just focus on making the casts properly and getting them out the door. It is not a glamorous business, just honest work with metal and heat. We stay open pretty late most nights.
