You can find Shree Shakti Metal at Plot No. 1 in Vaid Wadi. We are right off Gondal Road, pretty close to the Bombay Garage Petrol Pump. Being near the petrol pump makes it easy for drivers to find us without getting lost. We deal with all sorts of metal items. It’s a dusty job, and the sun gets pretty hot out here on the yard during the summer months. We’ve got a small crew. We don't spend much time in the office because there is always something to move or sort outside. The noise of metal clanging is just part of the day, you get used to it after a while. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now. Most of the local builders and workshops stop by when they need something specific for their jobs. We don't put on airs or pretend to be more than we are. It’s a metal yard, plain and simple. We keep an eye on the stock and try to help people find what they’re looking for. Sometimes we have what you need right away, other times we have to dig through the stacks to find it. It’s just the way it goes. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk to the regulars who come in for a chat. It’s a decent living. We don't really do much promotion. People know we are here and they come back.
