Shree Satya Vijay Patel Ice Cream

If you walk down Lakhajiraj Road near Prahlad Talkies, you will find our shop pretty easily. Shree Satya Vijay Patel Ice Cream has been in this part of town for years. Being near the cinema means we get a lot of people coming in right after a movie lets out. It gets very crowded for about twenty minutes, and then it goes quiet again until the next show finishes. We have to keep a lot of stock ready in the back because you never know what people will want on a Friday night. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and people talking loudly. I usually spend my morning cleaning the glass on the display cases. It gets dusty fast with all the traffic on the road. We are just a local family running this, so there is usually one of us behind the counter from morning until late at night. Sometimes the fridge makes a loud humming sound, but we got used to it long ago. The kids from the neighborhood come by after school with their small coins. It is a good spot to see what is happening in the city. We don't have fancy chairs, just a couple of plastic stools if someone wants to sit for a minute while they eat. The light in the sign flickers a bit, but we haven't had time to fix it yet. It is just a busy, normal shop on a busy street.
