Rajkot is hot. Main road is always loud. We are just across the Vrindavan Petrol pump. Mostly we deal with eggs. Boiled, fried, or whatever way people ask. It gets really crowded in the evenings when the filter plant workers finish their shifts. We don't have fancy tables. It’s mostly just people standing or sitting on some stools. We’ve been here on Kalawad road for a bit now. Sometimes the traffic is so bad you can’t even cross the street to get a glass of water. It's a simple setup. We use a lot of butter, that's what people like here in Rajkot. The pans are always going. One after another. By the time we close up, everything is covered in grease and masala. My hands smell like onions all day, but that is just how it is. It isn't a fancy restaurant, just a place to grab some food. Some days are slow when it rains, but usually, it's steady. We just try to keep the eggs fresh and the stove hot. If you're coming from the main road, look for the filter plant and we're right there. The petrol pump lights help people find us at night. It's nothing special to look at, just a regular spot for locals to eat. We aren't doing anything big, just cooking eggs for whoever stops by after work.
