Man Mohak Ice Cream

Man Mohak Ice Cream is located right on Rughnathpura Main Road. If you are familiar with the area, you know how crowded it gets in the evenings when everyone is out and about. We have been here for a while, and the shop has become a bit of a local landmark for people living nearby. It is a small place, mostly taken up by the big chest freezers we use to keep everything cold. The floor is made of old tiles that have some cracks in them from years of people walking in and out. Running an ice cream shop sounds fun, but it involves a lot of cleaning. We spend a good portion of our day mopping the floor and wiping down the glass lids. When the power goes out, which happens sometimes, we all get a bit stressed out trying to make sure nothing melts before the generator kicks in. We don’t have any fancy seating or a big menu with pictures. We just have the flavors listed on a board near the door. The neighbors from the surrounding shops often stop by to chat when things are quiet in the afternoon. We like the rhythm of the main road, even if the traffic noise never really stops. We aren't trying to be the biggest brand out there; we just want to keep the freezers full and the shop open for the regulars. It is a simple business run by people who live right here in the neighborhood.
