Shree Ram Steel

Shree Ram Steel is based in New Nehru Nagar, specifically on Street No 2. You will find us located behind the Kamnath Weigh Bridge in the Virani Aghat area. Being so close to a weigh bridge means there is a constant flow of heavy trucks and trailers, so the ground usually vibrates a little bit when the big ones go past. Our setup is quite basic and doesn't have any frills. We have a large covered storage area for the steel and a small corner where we take care of the daily paperwork. It is not the cleanest place you will ever visit, as dealing with steel tends to leave rust and black grime on everything it touches. We spend a good portion of our time checking the weights and making sure the loads are tied down correctly. It involves a lot of physical effort, and we usually end our days feeling pretty tired. The neighbors are mostly other small industrial shops, so we all know each other and help out if someone’s machine breaks down or they need a hand. We don't have any marketing people or a fancy sales staff. If someone needs to buy steel, they just come by the shop or give us a call on the mobile. The office gets very warm in the afternoon because the roof is just tin, but the fan helps a bit. We just keep at it every day.
