We’ve been here in the Aji Industrial Area for quite some time now. If you head down the 80 Feet Main Road, you can’t really miss us because we’re right opposite the PTC building and pretty close to K.S. Diesels. It gets hot inside the workshop, especially in the afternoons when the furnaces are going full tilt, but that is just how things are in a casting unit. My father started things off with just a few guys, and now there are more of us, but the work hasn't changed much. We spend most of our mornings checking the molds and making sure the metal is right. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in when the big trucks pass by, but we just keep our heads down and get on with it. It isn't a fancy place with air conditioning or a glass front, just a solid shed where we do the pouring and the finishing. Some days are long, particularly when a big order needs to go out by Friday, and we end up staying late under the tube lights. We know most of the shop owners around here since we see them every day at the tea stall nearby. There is a lot of noise from the machines, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just try to do what we are supposed to do and keep the machines running without too much trouble for anybody else.
