Shapar is where we are, right near Archer Metal and Dharti Agro. If you know the area, you know it gets quite dusty around here with all the trucks moving in and out of the village. Our place is at Survey No. 81/82. It’s a decent-sized shed where we handle the foundry work and some engineering tasks. We started out small and just kept at it over the years. You’ll usually find a couple of us out front talking to the drivers or checking the latest batch of parts. The name on the gate is Shining Engineers & Founders, though we just call it the shop. Inside, it’s noisy because of the equipment, but we’re used to it by now. We deal with a lot of heavy metal pieces. It takes a lot of effort to get everything lined up. We don't spend much time on the computer, mostly we are out back looking at the molds. The weather in Shapar can be tough, especially when it rains and the roads get muddy. Most of the guys live nearby, so we're a local bunch. We see the same faces every day. It’s a practical life. We make things that go into other machines, parts you probably wouldn't notice unless they weren't there. We just try to keep the machines running and the floor clear enough to walk. Sometimes we run behind schedule, but we eventually catch up. It’s just the way things go in a place like this.
