Sharp Engineering Works

Sharp Engineering Works is located out in Metoda GIDC at Plot G/2051 on Road J/1/E. It’s right near Kishan Gate, which is a big landmark for anyone coming into the industrial area. Working out here means dealing with a lot of dust and the constant sound of heavy machinery from the neighboring plots. Our workshop is a big open space with a high roof. It gets really hot under the tin sheets in the summer, so we have these massive industrial fans running all the time. The floor is marked with yellow lines that have mostly faded away. We do a lot of metalwork, so there are always sparks flying somewhere and the smell of welding in the air. We don't have a fancy front office; it’s just a small room partitioned off with some glass where we keep the records. Most of our day is spent on the shop floor, checking the lathes or making sure the measurements are right. The road outside is full of trucks carrying raw materials and finished goods. We usually have our breaks sitting on the tool chests or outside if there’s a breeze. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't go in for anything unnecessary. We just come in, do the machining work that’s on the schedule, and make sure the gate is shut tight before the night shift starts.
