Shakti Steel Products

Out here at Plot No. 4/5 in the Lati Plot area, things stay pretty busy. We are right by the 2nd Cross Lane, not too far from the Rajkot Highway. If you come by Shakti Steel Products, you’ll hear the sound of metal moving around almost all day long. It gets quite dusty with all the trucks passing by on the highway, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We deal with steel, mostly moving stock and getting orders ready for people who need materials for building things. The shop floor is always covered in bits of metal and tools. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we are used to the noise. In the mornings, we usually start by checking what came in the night before. There’s a lot of lifting and loading involved. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and the steel feels like it’s glowing, but we just keep at it. We’ve been in this spot for a while, so most of the neighbors know us. We don’t really do anything fancy here. It’s just about getting the steel cut or moved to where it needs to go. We grab tea from the stall nearby when we get a break. It is hard work, but it’s honest. We don't worry much about office decor or anything like that, as long as the orders are right.
