Sanjay Steels is tucked into Lokhand Bazar, right off Gondal Road in Lohanagar. We are situated right across from the Ahiyas Complex. Being in Lokhand Bazar means we are right in the middle of all the metal trade action. It’s a place that never really stays quiet. You can hear the sound of iron clashing and trucks idling from early morning until late evening. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us have worked together for years, so we know how each other works without having to say much. Our days are filled with unloading bundles of steel and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s physical work and it keeps us busy. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just sell steel to whoever needs it, whether it's a small workshop or a bigger contractor. The neighborhood has changed a bit, but the bazar still feels the same. We know most of the other shop owners around here, and we often grab tea from the stall nearby. It’s a community of people who work hard with their hands. If you come by, you’ll probably see us moving stuff around or checking a delivery note. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life and we’re fine with it. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
