S. S. Metal

We operate out of Meera Udhyog, plot 3/6. It’s a corner plot, number 29, right behind the Aji GIDC in Rajkot. If you’ve spent any time in Rajkot’s industrial zones, you know exactly what the atmosphere is like. It’s a lot of metal, a lot of sweat, and a lot of long hours. Our spot on the corner is actually pretty convenient for loading and unloading stuff. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us near the machines or checking the stock. The air always smells a bit like oil and cut metal, which is just part of the job. We’ve been here long enough that the walls are a bit stained and the floor is scuffed up, but that’s because we actually use the space. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger and the phone. It's a simple life. We deal with metal every day and we don't try to make it sound more exciting than it is. Most of our neighbors are doing similar things, so there is a bit of a shared understanding among everyone on the street. We just focus on getting the work done right and keeping the machines running. It’s a practical business for practical people, and we like being in this part of Rajkot. We’ve been doing this for years and it is what it is.
