Rang The Band

We are based over in Ram Park on Kalavad Road here in Rajkot. Being in this part of town means there is always something going on outside our door. Rang The Band is really just about the music and getting together to play for different folks. We spend a lot of time sitting around the office figuring out tunes and making sure our gear is working okay. Sometimes the drums are a bit loud and the neighbors might wonder what we are doing, but it is all part of the job. Most of us have been playing since we were kids. It is not like a big company with suits; it is more like a group of friends who happen to work together every day. We handle a lot of local events and weddings around Rajkot. It gets pretty tiring during the peak season when we are out late almost every night. The office at Kalavad Road is where we keep all the extra cables and the instruments that aren't being used. It is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We usually have some tea and talk about the next gig. There is no fancy stuff here, just some speakers and a few chairs. We just try to show up on time and do what we are supposed to do. It’s a busy life but we like it, even with the long hours and heavy lifting.
