Raj Steel Fabrication

We set up Raj Steel Fabrication right near the animal hospital at Rati Chowk. If you know Moviya Road, you’ve probably passed us in Kgn Nagar. It’s a noisy spot but we like it here. We spend most of our time with the welding torches and grinders. There’s always sparks flying somewhere in the shop. We make gates, window grills, and whatever else people need out of iron or steel. It’s not a clean job, and the shop floor is usually covered in metal scraps and offcuts. We don't have a big team, just a few guys who know how to handle the tools. Sometimes the heat from the welding gets a bit much, especially in the afternoon, so we take breaks under the fan. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or a neighbor told them about us. We try to get the measurements right the first time because fixing mistakes is a pain and wastes metal. The location near the animal hospital is handy for directions since everyone knows where that is. We work six days a week, sometimes Sundays if there's a big job waiting. It’s just straightforward fabrication work. We take the raw steel bars and turn them into something useful. It’s satisfying to see a finished gate go out on a rickshaw. We’ve been at this spot for a while and the local people know our face.
