Pearlite Steel

Pearlite Steel is located at G-1149 in GIDC Metoda, near Gate No. 3. We are just off Kalawad Road in Rajkot. Being in a major industrial hub like Metoda means we are surrounded by all kinds of manufacturing plants. Our facility is a straightforward steel yard and workshop. It is a loud place because we are constantly moving heavy metal around. You will hear the sound of cranes, saws, and trucks all day long. We don't have any decorations or fancy furniture. The floor is concrete and there is iron dust on almost everything. We spend our days handling steel orders for different projects. It is hard, physical work and our clothes usually end up pretty dirty by the time we go home. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for a long time. We don't bother with corporate talk or mission statements. We just look at what needs to be cut or shipped and we do it. The traffic on Kalawad Road can be quite a mess, especially during shift changes at the factories. We try to schedule our pickups and deliveries to avoid the worst of it. Our office is just a small room where we keep the records and take phone calls. Most of the time, we are out in the yard dealing with the materials. It is a basic business, but it keeps us busy and we know the steel trade well.
