Patel Steel

We spend most of our time here at the yard in Nana Mauva, right by the Gruh Mandir Bunglow. Patel Steel has been around this part of Rajkot for a while now. Most days it is just us moving heavy loads and making sure the metal goes where it needs to. It is not quiet work, that is for sure. We handle a lot of different steel stuff, mostly for builders or guys doing home repairs in the Gol Residency area. The sun gets pretty hot out here in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. People just stop by when they need something specific. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we keep our stock. Sometimes the traffic near the residency gets a bit crowded, but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There is always a pile of scrap or new rods to sort through. It is dusty and physical, but it is what we know. If someone needs a few pieces for a gate or a bigger project, we just find what fits. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place around, just a reliable spot where the locals can find what they are looking for without too much fuss. That is pretty much how things go here day in and day out.
