You can find us over at 5-New Nehru Nagar. We’re right behind the Nandeshwar Temple and across from Icon Ind on Dhebar Road. It’s a decent little spot, though the traffic on Dhebar Road can be a real headache during rush hour. At Microtech Engineering Co., we mostly focus on the smaller, more technical parts that require a bit of patience. The workshop isn't huge, but we have enough space for the lathes and the tools we need. It’s usually just the sound of metal hitting metal and the hum of the motors in here. We start pretty early most days because that’s when it’s coolest and the most work gets done. Sometimes the temple nearby has some bells going, which is a nice break from the noise of the machines. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while, so we know most of the people nearby. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big reception area, so if you walk in, you're pretty much right there in the middle of the work. We keep our notes on scraps of paper and our tools in old wooden chests. It might look a bit disorganized to someone from the outside, but we know where every single wrench is. We just focus on the job at hand and try to make sure the pieces we make are what they should be.
