You can find us on Millpara Main Road here in Rajkot. We are right opposite Street 7A, which is a busy little corner. Our place is called Mayur Decoration And Sound Service, and as the name says, we deal with a lot of stuff for parties and events. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with drapes, lights, and speakers everywhere. We are always moving things in and out, loading up trucks for different jobs around the city. It’s hard physical work sometimes, especially in the heat. We don't have a shiny office with air conditioning in every corner. Instead, we have a workspace that smells a bit like old fabric and electronics. We have been doing this in Millpara for quite a while, so the locals know who we are. When a wedding season comes around, we barely have time to sit down. We just grab a quick tea and get back to packing the gear. We check the bulbs, test the microphones, and fold the decorative cloths. It’s nothing glamorous, but it is what we do. The street outside is always noisy with motorcycles and carts, but we just keep working through it. If we are not at the shop, we are probably out at a site setting things up. That is just the way it is for us. We just focus on the job and getting things moved on time.
