Macwel Metals Pvt. Ltd.

Our company, Macwel Metals Pvt. Ltd., is based at G-2202 in Lodhika Gidc, Metoda. It's a fairly standard industrial unit. We deal with a lot of heavy metal pieces, so the floor is reinforced concrete. It’s loud in here when the saws are going, and you have to yell a bit to be heard. We have a small office partitioned off with some glass, but it still gets dusty in there no matter how much we clean. I spend half my time out on the floor and the other half dealing with the bills and paperwork. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get through our daily tasks without too many problems. The machines need a lot of maintenance, so Saturdays are usually spent with a wrench in hand. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here from the city, but this is where the industry is located. We have a small crew, and everyone knows what they’re supposed to do. There’s no micromanaging here. We just trust people to do their jobs. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It’s just one of those things you deal with. We don’t have any big speeches or goals, we just keep making parts and sending them out. It’s a straightforward way to make a living for all of us here.
