You can find us at Patel Boarding on Gondal Road. We are right near the petrol pump, which makes it easy to explain to people who are looking for us. Leon Steel has been operating from this spot for a good while. The area stays busy with all the cars and trucks pulling in for fuel nearby. It can get pretty dusty with all the steel moving around and the traffic outside. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is used for storing the heavy stuff. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who are picking up loads. My brother and I usually handle the day-to-day things. It’s hard work and the sun really beats down on the yard in the summer. We have a small office where we keep the books and take a break when it gets too much. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big speeches. We just sell steel. Sometimes the orders are small and sometimes they take up the whole truck. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go on Gondal Road, but we just keep doing our thing. It’s a plain business and we like it that way. No one wears a suit here. We wear boots and clothes that we don't mind getting grease on. That is just the life of a steel yard on a busy road where things are always moving.
