We’ve been here in Mavdi Plot for a long time now. If you walk down Street Number 1 in Amarnagar, past the school, you’ll find our place. It’s a busy spot near Bahuchar Vidhyalay. We handle a lot of metal work every day. The noise from the machines is basically the soundtrack to our mornings. Most days start early because there is always something to cut or shape. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a workshop with grease on the floor and stacks of material in the corners. We mostly deal with local folks and other businesses around Umakant Pandit Udhyognagar. People know where to find us. Usually, someone is always around to answer the door. Sometimes the street gets crowded with trucks, but we manage to get the work done. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. The weather gets hot in the shed during the summer, but the fans keep things moving. We just focus on getting the pieces right so people don't have to come back with complaints. It’s a simple setup. We don’t spend much time on the computer or writing things down unless it's an order. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. We just keep our heads down and work. If you need something made of metal, this is where we do it. No frills, just the job at hand. It is what it is.
